Works on Triq Ramlet il-Qortin
During the last few weeks the Mellieħa Local Council has embarked on the project of resurfacing Triq Ramlet il-Qortin which compliments the resurfacing of Triq l-Armier. During the month of May the works commenced with the leveling of the road, repair of existing rubble walls, building of a new pavement and the upkeep of water culverts.
Besides a new water main has been installed by the Water Services Corporation and new ducts for telephone lines were installed by Go plc. Laying of tarmac has started today and works is set to be completed by next week. The estimated cost of this project is set to reach € 280,000.
