Between Friday 8th November and Sunday 10th November, a delegation from Ayia Napa, Cyprus and another one from Cavriglia, Italy were invited by the Mellieħa Local Council for meetings that were organised to strengthen the twinning agreements between these localities. During these visits the delegations had the opportunity to meet with different organisations in Mellieħa and were also shown around the various places of interest in our locality. This visit was co-ordinated by the Vice Mayor Mr. John Buttigieg who is responsible for the Twinnings.
