Premju Nazzjonali Fil-Qasam tad-Dimensja
On Friday 6th September the event 'Premju Nazzjonali fil-Qasam tad-Dimensja' was organised by Hon. Anthony Agius Decelis, Parliamentary Secretary for Persons with Disabilities and Active Ageing. With great satisfaction Mrs. Carmen Dingli and the employees at Dar il-Madonna tal-Mellieħa, who were nominated by the Mellieħa Local Council, were among the finalists. Mrs. Carmen Dingli was nominated for the award of Informal Carer as she looks after her mother who suffers from dementia. The employees of Dar il-Madonna tal-Mellieħa were nominated for the award 'Tim fil-Qasam tad-Dimensja' for the work they carry out with the elderly who suffer from dementia and for the project ‘Orange Grove’ that helps the elderly to live a better life.
