With great honour and satisfaction the Mayor, Vice-Mayor, Councillors and Staff of the Mellieħa Local Council would like to congratulate Mr. Paul P Borg who won the Premju Anzjanita Akkademika and Maestro Paul Abela (Mrs Abela received the award on behalf of her husband as he could not attend) who won the Premju Anzjanita Mudell Ideali, during the Premju Anzjanita Attiva award giving ceremony, that was organised by the Parliamentary Secretary for Persons with Disabilty an Active Ageing, Hon Anthony Agius Decelis, under the Patronage of his Excellency, The President of Malta, Dr. George Vella. These two winners were nominated by the Mellieħa Local Council. The Active Ageing Centre Mellieħa was also nominated for the award Premju Anzjanita Sportiva. Congratulations and well done to all.
